Catwalk Trends 2013

For 2013 the Runway was revamped and restyled in association with our trend partners Adorn Insight and media partner Vogue Gioiello. We used the AW2014 Adorn Insight jewellery macro trends to provide inspiration for clothing and jewellery on the Runway.


This trend takes us back to nature with an earthy vibe and an autumnal palette of greys, mossy greens, garnet and brown. Think bold statement pieces, rough rocks, oxidised metals, stone slices and collaged colours.

Self Portrait

With a slightly nostalgic flavour, collectables, trinkets and memorabilia tell the wearer's personal story. Words and initials are important motifs with tattoo art inspiring new directions such as engraving.


This trend has real visual impact, with luxe dashes, precious metals and brightly hued gemstones. Stacking and layering are key silhouettes inspired by exotic travel destinations like Asia, Africa and South America.

Future Plus

Showcasing a more minimal flavour, flashes of pale metal infused with coloured metallics give futuristic direction to this trend. Jewellery is geometric and highly polished with shapes and 3D structures coming to the fore.
