Adorn Insight Award

New for 2013 - In recognition of the importance of trend information for young and up-coming new designers. Katie Jamieson one of our 2013 KickStarters won the Adorn Insight Award. Selected by Adorn Insight at IJL, the award included a year’s subscription and valuable bespoke mentoring.

Gem-Empathy Award

The Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) again sponsored the Gem-Empathy Award at IJL. The winning exhibitor Tivon Fine Jewellery will be given publicity in Gems & Jewellery magazine as well as a free full-page advertisement.

Gem-A has always advocated that gem-set jewellery should be designed to show the gemstones to their best advantage. So the Gem-Empathy Award was presented to the IJL exhibitor displaying, in the opinion of the judges, a single piece or collection of jewellery that makes captivating use of one of more gemstones. Gem-A’s criteria for the award included accurate and honest descriptions as well as creativity, imagination and attractiveness.
