Jonathan trained as a goldsmith upon leaving school before going on to work for one of the world’s leading gemstone merchants. His retail business, Jonathan Lambert Fine Jewellers is based in Sudbury, Suffolk.
Jonathan is also managing director of Ethically Precious Ltd, the first British jewellery company to ensure all its product are made entirely from 100% recycled precious metals. Ethically Precious Ltd will be launching its first ethical jewellery brand at IJL 2010.
He has been a director of the National Association of Goldsmiths since 2000 and served as the association’s Chairman from 2004 to 2006, the youngest person ever to fill this role and is currently chairman of the NAG’s Institute of Registered Valuers.
Jonathan is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers, a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and a Freeman of the City of London.
