She has been actively involved in the jewellery and precious metals industry since 1970, and specializes in ‘global’ strategic alliances; offering customised marketing programmes with specialist consultants in the international jewellery sector. The service includes: networking proprietary and syndicated research, market intelligence, regulatory and best business practice, training and lecturing, product innovation and sourcing, socio-cultural trends forecasting and analysis, project development and management.
In 1999 Jan established the marketing services consultancy; Global Marketing Services Limited. Her clients include: World Gold Council, Diamond Trading Company, AngloGoldAshanti, Assay Office Birmingham, Links of London, City Fringe Partnership, The Goldsmiths’ Company, and QVC.
