Supporting the Industry

  • Supporting the Industry

When IJL opens its doors to the trade, it is undoubtedly the highlight of our year; however, those 3 days don’t tell the full story and are only a small part of our contribution to this amazing industry.

Whether it’s supporting emerging designers with KickStart and Bright Young Gems, rewarding exhibitors with the Editor’s Choice Award, recognising talent and supporting retail with the F.Hinds Competition or attending awards ceremonies by the Goldsmiths Craft and Design Council, International Jewellery London is firmly part of the industry 365 days a year.

  • Bright Young Gems

Bright Young Gems is an initiative aimed at jewellery students who are invited to submit their jewellery to be judged by a prestigious judging panel of experts. 5 winners are chosen to showcase their jewellery at IJL and they receive help and support from IJL and the NAJ.

    Bright Young Gems

KickStart gives 10 up-and-coming designers with emerging businesses the chance to showcase their collections and talents to UK and international retailers and press. Along with a stand at IJL, they are given training and guidance from IJL and the NAJ.

    Editor's Choice

Editor’s Choice recognises and showcases jewellery designers who exhibit the most creative and cutting edge jewellery at IJL. Pieces are judged and winners selected by Claire Adler, Jewellery and Luxury Journalist and Sam Willoughby, Event Director IJL.
