All are investing in increased visibility at the show through a range of top-line sponsorship opportunities.

With over 500 exhibitors from 38 countries, making yourself stand out will certainly help reach your objectives. Combining this with your well-made and unique products and a proactive team onsite showcasing your brand, will guarantee success!”
Acclaimed for its innovation, craftsmanship and advanced technology in mastering the classic art of timekeeping, Bulova is sponsoring the IJL Catwalk – a focal point of the show. Since 1875, when founder Joseph Bulova opened his store on Maiden Lane in downtown Manhattan, a Bulova watch crafted from the finest materials, has been recognised as not only a timepiece, but also a piece of history. Built on a unique selling proposition that delivers the highest quality at the best value, Bulova is an acknowledged leader in diamond and high-performance sport timekeeping, with a wide range of watches including the ultra-accurate Precisionist and an extensive selection of styles for dress, sport and casual wear, at a wide choice of price points.
‘’This will be the first occasion that the Bulova Watch Company will be showing at IJL and we are all eagerly anticipating one of the UK’s major Luxury Watch and Jewellery events, with the launch of the new and unique Bulova CURV watch collection. This collection features the World’s First Curved Chronograph movement and is our most luxurious Bulova timepiece to date. When you ‘Try it on’, you will see!” explains Steve Ramsay, Managing Director, Bulova Europe.
Clogau, the second generation family business based in Wales making its debut at IJL 2016, are sponsoring the Show Bags. For over 26 years, their growing range of jewellery has captured the hearts and imaginations of jewellery lovers from far and wide, with every piece they create containing rare Welsh gold from the Snowdonia mountains. At IJL Clogau will be presenting their new majestic, elegant collections including Debutante, the exquisite Kensington and the opulent Origins collections, together with exclusively unveiling their special edition collection for Winter 2016, the beautifully unique Nutcracker collection.
Ben Roberts, Managing Director of Clogau, says: “Exhibiting at IJL for the first time is a great opportunity to showcase Clogau to both existing and new audiences. With the attraction of a London location, we will be able to introduce our Gold of Royalty campaign to prospective customers. We are very pleased to be a sponsor.”
Celebrating 40 years in 2016, Houlden Jewellers are sponsoring the prestigious Diamond Club, with its VIP membership of over 400 international and UK owners, CEOs, directors and senior buyers. Working in collaboration with 30 of the top independent jewellery retailers in the UK & Ireland, Houlden provides its members with advice and support that includes networking, buying, training, marketing and business services.
“IJL showcases an excellent array of suppliers and the timing is ideal for our membership as it complements the Houlden events perfectly, providing members with another opportunity to catch up with the organisation, fellow members and the industry. We aim to inspire and innovate our members to be at the leading edge of the industry, so sponsoring the Diamond Club is the perfect way for us to support the event, while encouraging out members to attend,” states Helen Haddow, CEO Houlden Jewellers.
This year the highly popular IJL Party on the first evening of the show is being sponsored by Catawiki, the world's fastest growing online auction house. Originally founded as a community for collectors, Catawiki has since become the number one website for buying and selling special objects, auctioning 30,000 lots each week. Since 2011, Catawiki has been hosting weekly auctions, now in over 80 different categories, including jewellery, diamonds, gemstones and watches – all curated by specialist auctioneers, guaranteeing varied and high quality lots.
Ben Fried, General Manager UK & Ireland explains: “Having just recently launched in the UK and Ireland, we're very excited about the opportunity to talk to the industry's leading traders in such a professional environment with a global reach. Catawiki's success has been built on working with passionate people who value unique and extraordinary items, and I have no doubt IJL is an event that will introduce us to many more.”
The National Association of Jewellers is this year sponsoring the Information Point for visitors and exhibitors. The NAJ, representing the jewellery industry by promoting, protecting and providing for its members, is based in both London and Birmingham and is supported by a strong internet presence and social media. Offering targeted industry-leading professional development and training, the Association is also dedicated to inspiring consumer confidence to purchase from their members through a Code of Practice setting the highest standards of professionalism, honesty and ethical business practices.
Michael Rawlinson, CEO of the National Association of Jewellers, explains: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Information Point that visitors will immediately see upon entering IJL. Information and providing direction to the industry are two key components of our role, and so I hope everyone will see the obvious link and appropriateness of this.”
LLD Diamonds UK, the UK office for one of the world’s largest diamond manufacturers and polished wholesalers, are sponsors of the IJL Lanyards. Taking diamonds from the Mine to the Market, the company has successfully developed and grown their UK business, based on providing excellent personalised service to ensure their clients get exactly what they want, when they need it and at the best prices. This understanding and commitment comes from generations of experience and the desire to maximise expectations. LLD has offices in London Hatton Garden, Israel, Russia, New York, Hong Kong, Belgium, South Africa, India, Angola & Namibia.
“We are absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor the Lanyards for IJL this year. We are looking forward to meeting many new people and feel that having our logo on the lanyards will be a very good way to introduce ourselves to everyone at the show – as well as extend a warm welcome to our stand,” comments Effie Yelizarov, Managing Director.
Sponsoring IJL’s Industry Insights Seminar Theatre for the first time is Holts Academy, the UK’s number one training provider for the jewellery industry. They run courses in craftsmanship, manufacturing, technical design, retail and business skills from their schools in London and Birmingham’s iconic Jewellery Quarters. Holts exist to provide skills otherwise being lost in UK manufacturing and to grow the sector by developing the retail workforce and providing apprenticeships and career paths for the next-generation of industry specialists. As part of their sponsorship, Holts will be running a special not to be missed Media Masterclass with Claire Adler, the luxury writer and communications consultant specialising in jewellery and diamonds. Designed to show jewellers how to maximise print, broadcast and online coverage, as well as social media, this will take place on Monday September 5 from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
“We felt it essential to be a part of IJL 2016 as the Academy evolves this year to provide more to the trade in training, recruitment and specialist services, as well as continuing to bring new talent to the industry. We are sponsoring the Industry Insights theatre which promises to provide a fount of inspiration and business advice,” explains Gabriel Gherscovic, CEO of Holts Academy of Jewellery.
For the first time, IJL exhibitors are going to have access to an innovative Sales App for the jewellery industry sponsored and provided by Pursuit Software - the market leader in jewellery retail sales, stock and management technology, whose systems are used by top multiples and independents in the UK and Ireland. This new App for suppliers is the direct counterpart of the iPad sales tool that brand and wholesale sales executives see increasingly used in jewellery shops by retail staff. It carries quick look-up details of all a supplier’s product ranges for cross-searching collections with, for example, many mix-and-match permutations.
Mike Burns, Managing Director, Pursuit Software, explains: “Jewellery retailing used to be well behind the rest of the high street when it came to exploiting information technology. That’s no longer the case – and with Pursuit’s Wholesale App, jewellery and watch suppliers can enjoy equivalent sales winning efficiency. Nothing like it has been available before.”
Other exhibitors maximising IJL’s sponsorship opportunities this year include SOKOLOV – the international jewellery brand which started as a small family workshop and has grown into one of the largest manufacturers in Europe. It remains a family business and still bears the name of its founders. SOKOLOV Jewelry combines exceptional design and craftsmanship, with their artisans paying special attention to every piece they work on and putting their hearts into everything they create. As a result, SOKOLOV jewellery becomes an integral part of the lives of those who wear it.
“We see IJL as the natural place to launch a new brand into the UK. This is where the whole industry comes together once a year, suppliers, designers and retailers alike. It is where trusted suppliers introduce new collections and where retailers find new brands. We are very excited to introduce SOKOLOV to the UK jewellery industry at IJL 2016,” comments Henrik Leth Moller, UK Managing Director.
Nour London. Formed in 1991 by husband and wife team Mehrdad & Setareh, Nour London has grown to become one of the most innovative costume jewellery design companies in the UK. Their values of sophisticated design, unrivalled craftsmanship and use of the best quality materials guarantees that their collections are the most unique, contemporary, elegant and timeless costume jewellery pieces at unexpectedly affordable prices.
“We wanted to enhance our presence at IJL as the premier show for the industry and sponsorship seemed the perfect opportunity for us - especially as the visitors to the show are exactly who we are targeting,” comments Setareh Shojaie, founder and designer, Nour London.
First Jewelry, an industry leader in developing and marketing Sterling Silver jewellery and the exclusive worldwide distributor of the Persona jewellery brands. Through their international network of factories and offices, they maintain close relationships with their clients, offering diamonds in every shape, size and colour, both as individual stones and in larger quantities.
