As biiju was a new business and brand, making contacts and meeting the right retailers required significant investment in terms of time and energy - important resources which weren’t always available. Exhibiting at IJL meant the logistical side of it was taken care of. IJL was a very convenient and effective platform to present biiju to target retailers.
biiju’s objectives weren’t only to make new contacts and establish retail partnerships, but also to feel part of the jewellery community. They wanted to be surrounded by excellence and innovation and to come away feeling motivated and inspired.
As a first time exhibitor, biiju’s results were very positive. New stockists were secured and months later, new business is still rolling in.
Other than securing new stockists, there were some great additional benefits to exhibiting at IJL. biiju took advantage of the show as a fantastic networking opportunity and many new and useful contacts were made. It was also very rewarding in terms of exposure in the form of social media attention and some wonderful press coverage for the brand.
