Trend award for IJL KickStart designer Imogen Belfield

Top industry-leading global forecast and analysis service Stylesight has presented a special award to IJL KickStart designer Imogen Belfield – the KickStart Trend Award.

The Stylesight team visited the International Jewellery London show this September to view the work of the KickStarters and to select the winning designer for her excellence in progressive jewellery design. The prize is a year’s subscription to the innovative trend service, worth $8,500 USD.

A delighted Imogen Belfield said: “I feel incredibly honoured to win the KickStart Trend Award. Being a KickStart designer was another fantastic step towards establishing my business professionally and firmly within the UK jewellery industry, and this award is an incredible accolade. It will really give me the ability to explore and expand upon my market place, and be a real asset in broadening my businesses trade. I look forward to trading at IJL on my own stand next year too.”

The prize provides Imogen Belfield with a valuable creative platform following her success at the IJL show. KickStart, which is supported by the British Jewellers’ Association, acts as a bursary scheme for talented new designers who are selected to exhibit on a group stand at the leading jewellery trade show. For award winning designer Imogen Belfield, securing a place as a KickStart designer this year followed her debut at IJL as a Bright Young Gem in 2011.
