There has been a fantastic buzz at International Jewellery London so far

Yesterday celebrity designer Stephen Webster, luxury writer Claire Adler and the International Palladium Board discussed palladium jewellery in the Inspiration Theatre, Bright Young Gems panellists Hilary Alexander, Caragh McKay and Bec Clarke visited the show and Sarah Jordan celebrated her 25th anniversary with a party and stunning new collections - amongst the many events.

Claire Foster of fashion forecaster WGSN's jewellery team visited the show and noted: "It feels like there is more direction on trends and diversity, with lots of experimenting with textures and colours to keep retailers and their consumers interested. The construction of jewellery is also impressive at the moment, I've seen some stunning double rings, collar necklaces and stacking rings. It feels like designers are being more versatile. I loved the Design Gallery, including the KickStart and Bright Young Gems designers, they have great techniques and inspirations and their pieces are so well executed - their jewellery could go straight into a store and do well".
