International Jewellery London (IJL) have announced an impressive line-up of over 150 new companies from around the world - including the luxury brand, Vendome Paris - who have chosen IJL 2014, in its new venue in Olympia Grand, to launch and showcase their collections.
Many of these talented global jewellery pioneers are exclusive to IJL and their impressive displays, together with those from major established brands and innovative designers, will provide a one-off opportunity to source unique and special designs for the lucrative Christmas market - and beyond to 2015.
IJL’s choice of Olympia Grand has also allowed the introduction of a host of new highlights and features, all of which are designed to create a glamorous and inspirational environment in which to do business. These range from the first-ever Late Night Shopping Evening with a special charity auction in aid of Breast Cancer Care and the stunning eveningwear “Red Carpet” catwalk show featuring the latest trends, to the new Champagne Bar, the English Tea Room and the specially-built restaurant on the ground floor.
The acclaimed IJL complementary seminar programme is once again set to provide the industry with second-to-none insights, with high-profile speakers such as Jo Fairley, the co-founder of Green & Black’s.

This New York-based brand actually has roots much closer to home. Award-winning artist and jewellery designer, Maeve Gillies, grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland, in a family of nationally-acclaimed writers, musicians, academics and politicians. Inspired by this rich heritage and the spectacular Scottish landscape, Maeve co-launched MaeVona, the New York luxury brand supplying unique, Celtic-inspired bridal jewellery to high-end retailers. MaeVona are exhibiting for the first time at IJL 2014 in response to UK demand generated through their social media and online advertising campaigns, with the aim of expanding their list of UK retail partners opening exclusive authorized MaeVona stockists.

Martin Ross Fine Jewellery – Arctic Circle
Arctic Circle is a Canadian diamond brand that has been developed specifically for quality UK retailers by the Martin Ross Group in Canada, with the help of focus groups within the CMJ and with the support of CIBJO. Arctic Circle offers 100% assurance of provenance and ethical trading and can give retail staff a great selling story to boost diamond sales. Arctic Circle diamonds come from the remote and beautiful frozen tundra of the Canadian north and are mined to the highest environmental standards in the world. They are then cut, polished and set into beautiful jewellery in state-of-the-art workshops by Canadian artisans in Canada. They are also set in gold supplied by the Royal Canadian Mint. Arctic Circle diamonds are sold with a ‘birth certificate’ for each stone, which can be used by customers on the Arctic Circle website to validate the stone and show the customer what mine it originated from.

Holzman Fabian Diamonds Ltd
Holzman Fabian Diamonds will showcase their collection of loose diamonds for the first time at IJL 2014. This Israeli supplier specializes in stones 0.50 ct and larger, in rounds and unusual cuts and colours.
Fabian Holzman commented, "We believe that the UK market is very important for us as we have a competitively-priced collection of stones which we hope will be well received and will lead to some good business connections at the show”.
C6 by Anne Cohen
This award-winning Danish jewellery brand tells an amazing story, uniting the hardest naturally-occurring substance, diamonds, with the softest, graphite - in one sublime moment. Each piece of jewellery is made from graphite in two contrasting forms, carbon and diamond, then carefully crafted by hand from raw carbon to the final touch of placing the diamonds in the carbon cradle. With its stringent and minimalistic design, the jewellery is both contemporary and timeless: Anne Cohen’s renewal of the classic diamond ring is viewed as a shooting star in the world of international jewellery design. C6 by Anne Cohen was the winner of the Brand New Copenhagen award at the International Jewellery Show in Copenhagen, for this innovative use of material and original design concept.

Endless Jewelry is fast establishing itself as the new fun, fashionable brand with friendship collections. Single, double and triple wrap, premium quality leather bracelets in a rainbow of colours, are decorated with superb quality charms in plain Sterling Silver or with 18k, 3 micron thick Yellow and Rose Gold plating. These can be beautifully set with semi-precious stones, such as amethysts and sapphires. The charms slide on and cleverly grip the leather to ensure that they stay in place - with a strong magnetic clasp making each bracelet both durable and elegant on the wrist.

British brand, Ingenious, started its journey in 2009. The very wearable, chic, contemporary pieces are hand-made in sterling silver and plated using 24 carat gold dust. Three new collections will be unveiled at IJL 2014 - The Star Gazed collection reflects upon contemporary dreams of space and time travel, whilst The Poetry collection is inspired by Eastern philosophy and art. Craftsmanship lies at the centre of this collection. Intricate moulds, finished using the latest laser-cutting technology, detailed with exquisite semi-precious stones, hand-picked from the best gemstone markets in India and Turkey. The third collection, Signs and Verses, is part of the Ingenious teenage jewellery range. Influenced by young Londoners and her two teenage daughters, the designer, Emma Gee, has created a selection of witty and cutting-edge jewellery taking signature Ingenious style to a new level. This beautiful petite and feminine collection of watches combines British elegance and contemporary styling. Founder and designer, Annette Allen, draws her inspiration from the heritage of Great Britain, from beautiful old towns and wooden church pews worn from years of use, to the great stately homes with sumptuous fabrics and old leather-bound books. O.W.L Watches are made with new techniques, such as printed metal bracelets, leather-wrapped links and the use of premium materials creating a classic collection with a modern twist. They feature carefully selected leathers and Swarovski crystals, together with quality movements worthy of such distinctive watches. Each watch is packaged in a luxurious gift box inspired by Victorian travel cases, which makes a fantastic keepsake. The O.W.L Watches brand launched last year and 2014 has been a time of considerable growth through selective wholesale and distribution channels. This has resulted in the opening of over 30 new accounts across the UK and Ireland and establishing distribution in four new countries.

Icelandic brand Aurum Jewellery plan to launch some 12 collections at IJL 2014. Inspired by nature, with its delicate, irregular shapes, Aurum jewellery is characterised by rich details and a sense of movement, finesse and balance. Their core unique collections bear the names of Icelandic women - Isold, Fold and Alda - and they will also be launching their new Swan and Falcon collections. Simultaneously light, feminine and intricate, the three-dimensional designs evoke natural patterns as made by the sea on sand or moss on lava, resulting in jewellery that is both modern and timeless. All the pieces are designed by Guðbjörg Kristín Ingvarsdóttir, goldsmith and designer, who founded the Aurum Concept store in Reykjavik.

AORP bring a taste of old traditional Portugal, reinvented in exquisitely designed, innovative contemporary collections from jewelers and goldsmiths including Gabriela Styliano Jewellery, Rainbow Jewellery, Mimata, Sara Maia Jewelry Craft and Joana Mota Capitão.

Five exciting and distinctive designers from Ireland will be showcasing their collections in the Ireland Cork Pavilion – from the intricate handmade designs of Azure Jewellery to the fluid organic pieces of Hanna Tommola Jewellery.
“Debuting at IJL 2014, The Ireland Cork Pavilion will celebrate the best in Irish jewellery design, innovation and skill. These five designers will showcase their collections to international buyers and meet with key UK jewellery buyers. Elegant pearls, structural silvers, fashion accessories and contemporary jewellery styles will be exhibited at this new Pavilion. The Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association will showcase nineteen fine jewellery companies at IJL 2014. The most popular product category is gem-set jewellery, particularly diamonds set in 14k or 18k and yellow/white gold. Hong Kong manufacturers excel at producing small stones jewellery, infused with elements of contemporary fashion, covering a wide range of price points. Their gem-setting skills and design capability are competitive and the Hong Kong’s jewellery industry, as a whole, is well-known for its flexibility in accommodating customer needs.
