Key highlights and exhibitors include...
Exciting high end US brand Christopher Designs, following success at the JCK show, will enter the UK market for the first time. Known for their impressive designs and patented diamond cut, they are set to have a real impact on the UK fine jewellery market when they launch.
British brand STORM launched onto the fashion scene in 1989 with statement designs and trend led fashion accessories for both men and women. This year STORM will be previewing the Autumn Winter collection at IJL, featuring watches with multi layered dials, rotating second wheels, automatic movements and floating Swarovski crystals in both slate and rose gold finishes.
“International Jewellery London is the perfect exhibition for us to showcase the new watch and jewellery collections due to the excellent calibre of brands that also appear. We see a number of independent and multiple buyers and feel the show has a great visitor attendance,” said Lisa Dack Marketing Manager at STORM Watches.
Antwerp Diamonds Ltd will introduce new designs to their ever popular dress ring collection, whilst also launching new additions to ‘The Phoenix Cut™ Range’. Also unveiling at this year’s IJL is ‘The Mirage Collection’, a stunning collection of diamond rings, earrings & pendants. “We are looking forward to a brilliant show! IJL has always been the best platform in which to launch new designs, as we always receive such a fantastic response!” said Dax Humberstone, Director.
Domino has long been known for its highly commercial and strongly-selling Diamond Ring Mounts (DRM) collection - and justly so. Its 2013/14 edition features some 149 mounts, a third of which are entirely new designs. IJL will also provide the launch pad for Domino’s exciting new luxury neckwear collection in white gold with diamonds and a range of coloured stones which will be given its first public appearance at the show.
Stubbs & Co are planning to release pendants to complement their Brook and Sloane bridal rings at the show. “These diamond-set pendants are available in platinum and white gold and make ideal bridal or anniversary gifts,” stated Director Eran Shem-Tov, “and we’re looking forward to presenting them at IJL, along with the very popular engagement and eternity rings from which they are inspired”.
A real cutting edge brand, Bjørg Jewellery, is known for a conceptual approach to design that encapsulates both previous and present collections as balancing acts between the fine and the raw. A trademark is the use of rough precious stones and crafted metal textures. All pieces are handmade and all materials are 100% natural and obtained in accordance to environmental preservation. Their stockists are high-end jewellers, fashion boutiques and galleries across the world.
For the first time, one of Europe’s leading jewellery designers Alexandre Corrot’s Djula brand will come to London at IJL.
He opened his first store, featuring modern, geometric designs in the heart of Paris’ famously chic Latin Quarter in 1994. By 2004, Alexandre Corrot had become renowned within Paris’ exclusive community of luxury retailers. His collections expanded to feature diamonds and precious stones set against white, yellow, rose or black gold, quickly becoming “must haves” on the Paris scene.
Ahead of IJL, Sales Manager Melanie Gruson says: “We now want to find some new partners around the world.”
At Richard Hans Becker, their passion for producing spectacular pieces of jewellery that are inspired by the shapes and colours of gemstones themselves, has created collections of unique designs - the latest of which will be shown on the Boulevard. Whether looking for the classic or for the more individual, they have combined superb craftsmanship and modern technology to produce exceptional and distinctive jewellery designs, each set with the most beautiful of gem stones.
PJ Watson will be responding to customer demand by featuring an ever increasing collection of one of a kind pieces. This tactic enables their customers to create more interesting windows and at the same time offers the opportunity of maintaining margins. “The Boulevard at IJL is the ‘Bond Street’ of the show. It is where customers expect to find the finest jewellery and the best quality products,” commented Managing Director Vivian Watson.
Mark Milton have refined their collection and will be showing iconic new products in several areas - from diamond jewellery to coloured stone jewellery and 18ct vermeil on silver. “With increasing focus on the gold jewellery sector, our brands Mark Milton and Pepperpink offer a wonderful selection across every price range that we feel is unique in the present day marketplace – a ‘must see’. For IJL 2013, we plan to continue offering the best selection for design, quality and price, combined with the best service and a great smile!” said Mark Milton.
IJL will see the launch of the London Road Coronation collection. As part of the Burlington range, this right royal collection features colourful chequer cut amethyst, blue topaz and garnet in a fancy claw setting. The Coronation collection comprises a pendant, earrings and ring in 9ct yellow or white gold. London Road will also be showing additions to existing collections, including its best-selling Kew collection - featuring the new Layered Leaf earrings and pendant with beautifully textured solid gold leaves individually linked and layered to create an articulated and natural looking effect.
A new addition to the Boulevard, Amrapali, one of India’s most prolific fashion houses, are fast becoming a growing influence in the west. Their striking collections are bang on several trends, and range from Amrapali Jaipur, featuring gold and precious gem jewellery, to the silver TRIBE collection.
