IJL 2014, at Olympia GRAND (August 31 – September 2), will feature award-winning designers in the exclusive Designer Brands area. With a focus on fine and contemporary jewellery, these world-renowned designers – including for the first time, the exciting Danish newcomer, C6 by Anne Cohen - will be showcasing signature pieces, alongside superb new collections.
IJL Event Director, Sam Willoughby, commented: “The Designer Brands section is a very important part of the show and each year it grows in stature, providing a perfect snapshot of the latest designs and craftsmanship from some of the most iconic global brands.”
The Designer Brands line-up at this year‘s IJL features the following:
Designer Babette Wasserman has been creating collections of original jewels and cufflinks under her own label, as well as for a variety of other popular brands, for over sixteen years. The Babette Wasserman London brand is instantly recognisable by its impressive wow-factor. All her collections express a sense of luxury, stylish elegance and freshness and the new SS14 range is no different. From humble beginnings in 1997, the brand now has a distribution of over 350 accounts worldwide in some of the most luxurious jewellery shops, boutiques and department stores.
Dennis & Lavery Platinum
Dennis & Lavery Platinum returns to IJL this year for the first time since winning two Platinum Guild International Awards and after designer, Cindy Dennis Mangan and her husband had their second child. Launching three new platinum bridal collections at IJL, entitled Regalia, Glacier, and Esprit, and with an update to her award-winning Vortex interlocking wedding bands sets, Cindy has a vision for the company to be the luxury platinum brand of choice for Britain's leading independent retail jewellers. Also looking to confirm a partnership with a European distributor in 2015, the three new collections, together with previous ranges, Metropolis and Elemental, will give the brand a strong design lead across both contemporary and more traditional platinum jewellery styles.
Dower & Hall
Dower & Hall are preparing to showcase some beautiful and innovative new collections at this year’s show. With their reputation for excellent design and unequalled quality, the British jewellery design duo continue to firmly hold the reigns of their expanding empire, whilst maintaining a steady introduction of confident collections throughout the year. This season Dower & Hall are launching Dew Drop, as well as new pieces in the popular Nomad collection. Dew Drop is an effortlessly chic collection inspired by the delicate droplets silhouettes found in nature, while the free-spirited Nomad collection now includes on-trend ‘stacker’ bracelets.
Fei Liu is an award-winning jewellery designer based in the UK. He is internationally recognised for creating dramatic designs that infuse his Eastern heritage with Western design skills and tradition. The essence of Fei Liu Fine Jewellery is that of great drama and elegance, entwined with intricate details. Pairing delicately-sculpted settings with vivid and colourful stones, his signature look is a refined mix of femininity and knock-out impact. Lavishly delicate and elegantly bold, each piece is uniquely inspired with a three-dimensional edge.

Since launching her brand in 2011, she has been awarded, ‘New Designer of the Year,’ at the UK Jewellery Awards 2011, been named in the industries ‘Hot 100’ list twice (2011 & 2013), and been awarded the ‘Lonmins Design Innovation Award’ for Platinum, as well as receiving the ‘Coutts New Jeweller Award’. Creating jewellery described as having ‘elegance with an edge’, Katie Rowland draws her inspiration from beguiling and powerful female characters in history and mythology, with collections that offer not only unadulterated, opulent pleasure but escapism.
Her brand is synonymous with intricate, unusual and original designs, as well as an exquisite use of precious stones and metals. This, combined with a dose of ‘femme fatale’ seductiveness, is what makes Katie Rowland pieces so tantalising to own, wear and collect.

C6 by Anne Cohen
Anne Cohen is the designer behind the award winning Danish jewellery brand - C6 by Anne Cohen - which tells an amazing story, uniting the hardest naturally-occurring substance, diamonds, with the softest, graphite, in one sublime moment. Each piece of jewellery is made from graphite in two contrasting forms, carbon and diamond, then carefully crafted by hand from raw carbon to the final touch of placing the diamonds in the carbon cradle. With its stringent and minimalistic design, the jewellery is both contemporary and timeless: Anne Cohen’s renewal of the classic diamond ring is viewed as a shooting star in the world of international jewellery design.
C6 by Anne Cohen is a unique approach to jewellery design, with a unified concept and authentic storytelling that frames a complete, stand-alone package.

Sheila Fleet Jewellery is worn and collected all over the world. The latest collections: Wild Grasses, Creel, Snowdrop and Daisies for Emily have proved particularly popular.
